Christmas

The kids looking at their new tank...there are fish in there (in the bottom picture) you just can't see them.

Benjamin got new cars and a rug with streets to drive them on.

Hannah and Daddy showing off their new movies (Amazing Grace and Sleeping Beauty)

Hannah got the Sleeping Beauty action figure set...I guess they are just figures not action figures....

Benjamin showing off his cars and saying "cheese"

Hannah's favorite gift was the alligator that came in her stocking. She has played with it all day and when Grani asked her what she got for Christmas she said, "an alligator, hair bows, and that is everything"

Dance, Dance, Dance

We have the Veggietale version of Dance, Dance, Revolution or whatever that game is called. The one we have hooks to your computer and you dance to Veggie songs. I got it out today, it hasn't been out since Benjamin came home in March of 2006! I think we got it for my birthday in Jan. of '06. Anyway, the kids tried to play but they didn't quite get the concept. But they had fun anyway!

Benjamin Videos

Our boy talks alot. I can understand a lot of what he says...you probably can't in this video. Once he is finished saying I wish a few times he is saying...
"I wish, I wish with all my heart
To fly with dragons in a land apart"

It is a poem from a show on PBS that Hannah loves to watch...it is called Dragon Tales. So anyway, he talks alot and knows alot but if you point to a picture of the four of us, two of us are Daddy and two of us are Hannah, there is no Mama and no Benjamin. He thinks his name is Hannah! I guess that is the name we say most often around here...however, that is changing more and more the closer he gets to two and is starting to test his limits!

His other favorite sayings:
"I don't know"
"I'm fine...how are you?"
"Look, Look!"
"Oh No!"
"Oh Wow!"
"Give Him the name Jesus. He will be great!"

Birthday Party

Lifting a car...wow they are strong!

Benjamin playing the piano

Dance, Dance, Dance

We went to our friend Layne's birthday party at the Science Center. It was so much fun!

Helping Mama Decorate

We put our tree up last Monday but it took all our effort and energy to get all the boxes out of the attic and set the tree up and figure out the lights (which we never did figure out, we have a whole strand of lights that aren't working and we are not going to worry about it until we take the tree down). So anyway, Tuesday - Friday we were busy and did not get to decorate the tree. So Saturday morning I asked Hannah if she would help Mama decorate the tree. She said, "Sure!, After I finish my Cheerios" So, after she finished her cheerios we started on the tree. Benjamin decided he would help too and Daddy willingly took some pictures!

As you can see they put all the ornaments in one area. Mama was going to go back and fix it, it stayed that way until Tuesday and finally Mama decorated the whole tree. And now there are presents under it! I was running out of hiding spots so I just wrapped them all!

The Star

Hannah asked if she could put the star on the tree. I'm really not sure why she knew that was something she could do. Oh, I just remembered....Grammy asked her if it was her turn to put the star on the tree...I guess she remembered Grammy saying that. Anyway, I told her as soon as I found the star she could put it on. She was so proud!
