Just wanted to let you guys know our move went well. We had lots of GREAT help, thanks! At first we thought that the truck wasn't going to hold everything and that we would have to make a trip to Louisville this weekend but Daniel was determined to take everything! So he somehow got it all to fit! The only thing that we could fit was our bicycles and Kevin and Sara are keeping those for us for awhile.
We have quite a bit of work to do in the house we are moving into so we are staying with Daniel's parents for the time being. All of our stuff is in the house but we have to rearrange everything. Almost all of his grandparents' stuff is still in the house - so if you can imagine 50 or 60 years of stuff that needs to be looked through or boxed up. Some of it has been done but there is a lot more stuff still there. So Daniel and I have created a room for storing their stuff and a room for storing our stuff and we are just putting things in those two rooms as we get a chance. The baby room is almost finished but we lost the brackets that hold the bed together! I found 3 yesterday but the fourth is still missing!
Daniel is at work today and Hannah and I are at Daniel's parents' house. They showed me how to set the alarm and so I set it. I had to push the code in twice and apparently I didn't push one of the numbers hard enough and I set the alarm off! I knew how to turn it off but the alarm company wanted the password - to indicate everything was okay! I didn't know the password! I think I have been told it before but could not remember! So the guy took my name and I was picturing the police showing up any minute! Instead he called my father-in-law at work and he cleared things up for me! I don't think I will try to set the alarm anymore!
So our first day alone has been interesting - I'm sure being home alone all the time will produce many interesting stories! I'll keep you guys up to date on how things are going.
Have a GREAT week!
