Room Time

Benjamin and Hannah have 30 minutes each day where they play alone in their room. There are multiple reasons for this, it gives Mama a chance to clean up after lunch, they learn to play by themselves a little, Mama can eat lunch, check e-mail etc. without worrying what they are getting into. Well, today Benjamin was really quiet, so I went to check on him and this is how I found him.

Zoo

On Saturday, after Daddy got through working at church, we headed to the zoo. We were so happy that Aunt Mel, Grace Ann, and Isaiah decided to join us!

Aunt Christy and Isaiah

We were all excited that the Tigers were actually awake and roaming around near the front where we could see them! We were there at a good time of day, a lot of the animals were up and active. It was during our normal naptime so that is why we are usually not there at that time!

Swimming

The kids had so much fun in Uncle Phil's pool! We thought Hannah would be afraid, since she won't even get in our wading pool at home, but she loved it! She loved jumping into the pool to her Daddy, she did it over and over again!

Meeting Baby Jack

We were so excited to meet our newest nephew, Jack Anderson! He was born Aug. 5. He is adopted just like Hannah and Benjamin. Here is a conversation I had with Hannah when Jack was born....

Me: Hannah, did you know you have a new cousin? Baby Jack?

Hannah: Yes

Me: Did you know that Uncle Jonny and Aunt JuJu are going to adopt him just like you and Benjamin are adopted

Hannah: Yes

Me: Isn't that cool?

Hannah: Yes, very cool

Me: Isn't it cool that God sometimes places babies in families through adoption?

Hannah: Very cool

Labor Day Weekend

I have lots of fun pictures and videos of Labor Day Weekend, but right now I can't post them. Long story but I can't find the pictures on my memory card because they were accidentally deleted when we put them on my father-in-law's computer, we put them back on the memory card but now Daniel and I can't find them. So I will have to post pictures this weekend, once I get back to Mt. Juliet and retrieve them from the computer there.
